Catholic Heritage Curricula This is a high-tech website with an online catalog and exclusive Catholic resources. Looks excellent, with lots of helpful pages and free resources. Looks very professional. Emmanuel Books Offers a wide selection of Catholic home school curriculum and books on a variety of subjects, with many Classical materials. I've toyed with getting their First Whole Book of Diagrams. Kolbe Academy This is apparently the only specifically Ignatian Catholic home school curriculum. There is both a day school and home school program for grades K-12. It is fully accredited by the National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools (NAPCIS). Memoria Press Memoria Press is a family-run publishing company that produces simple and easy to use classical Christian education materials for home and private schools. It was founded in 1994 to help promote and transmit the classical heritage of the Christian West through an emphasis on the liberal arts and the great works of the Western tradition. Memoria Press is well know for their popular Latin, logic and other classical studies resources. Our Father's House Educational materials by and for Catholic Families. Lots of materials in a wide range of subjects including history of the Catholic Church, Montessori materials and child-sized vestments. RC History RC (Roman Catholic) History was started by a family that loved literature and history but felt like most of the books and home school curriculum was from a Protestant perspective. RC History seeks to provide a place for Catholics to find reliable resources for studying history and the Catholic Faith. They specialize in chronological unit studies or thematic approach to teaching history.
Seton Home Study School Seton offers a Catholic curriculum in grades kindergarten through twelve. Their curriculum reflects the belief that Catholics today need to be fully formed in the Faith, while not neglecting great works of Western Civilization. They have published many of their own Catholic workbooks and textbooks. Where Catholic materials are not available, they present the Catholic perspective in the lesson plans.
Sonlight Christian Home School Curriculum
Though not specifically Catholic, there are many Catholic users that are Catholic. You can find others who use Sonlight for Catholic home school curriculum in the SL-Catholic Yahoo Groups. Stella Maris Books Stella Maris Books was started in 1975 for the purpose of selling the best Catholic books then available. Today they carry many titles for homeschooling families, as well as Catholic music on CD and cassette. They also carry many great video titles on DVD and VHS for Catholic family entertainment and education. Stone Tablet Press Publisher of textbooks for the Catholic classroom, including Little Angel Readers and workbooks. Good for those who want a textbook approach to their Catholic home school curriculum. TAN Books Mr. Thomas A. Nelson (no connection with the famous Thomas Nelson publishing company in Nashville, Tennessee) originally had the concept of both publishing and distributing the best books of other Catholic publishers--hence the words "Books and Publishers." The word TAN (Thomas A. Nelson's initials) was chosen instead of a religious name because Mr. Nelson wanted to be able to also sell books on history, health, politics, and other subjects.
